I am here to introduce BuyerCommand to the general public. BuyerCommand is an alternative site for discovering and reviewing eBay items (initially). The goal of the site/application is to provide more control of the buying experience to the buyer.
As a user of eBay, have you ever looked at the site and thought:
- "I really wish this site was easier to use.", or
- "I would really like eBay to redesign the site in _______ way."?
The application helps you:
- Use your time more efficiently
- Define your item search criteria dynamically
- Choose what item information to display and where to position it on the screen
- Leverage all of your screen space to maximize the item research potential
- Discover maps, graphs, and additional facts about items through correlated content
- Display the item pictures larger for easier examination of the item condition
- Utilize the keyboard shortcuts to navigate through search results rapidly
- Socially share items you locate with friends, family, groups, etc.
- Feel more confident that you have found the best item available
BuyerCommand is an eBay Compatible Application that has been approved by eBay so feel confident in using it to review eBay listings. The items shown in BuyerCommand are the exact same items available at eBay. The site currently contains the very basic, functional features however the roadmap for feature enhancement is rich. You will benefit from using BuyerCommand and that benefit will increase over time. Here is an example of the visual design we are headed toward:

You may be asking yourself, "Who are the folks building BuyerCommand?" The application is the brainchild of a veteran software developer from Yahoo!, Jaye Speaks. Expect his experience and vision to guide the progress of the application. Corbett Gilliam is an accomplished entreprenuer and investment specialist from Hartsfield Capital. He encouraged Jaye to build the application and directs the business aspects of the venture. Together they are working under the company name Bidiom to define a new standard for buyer tools.
The team building this application will not be an anonymous entity. We plan to be an open organization so that users can get to know the people involved and collaborate on the passion of building a better mousetrap. Send us feedback to feedback@buyercommand.com and share your ideas with us.
Now that you have the basics, please go to the site BuyerCommand.com, and use it to "Take Command of your Buying Experience"!
